Konstantinos Kambouroglou

Konstantinos Kambouroglou is a New York-based independent filmmaker and media producer and the founder of Gouse Films.

Since the mid-90s, he has developed and produced video content articulating the vision of educators, activists, lawyers, artists, religious institutions, financial consultants, athletes, policy makers, and global event organizers.

His work has been featured on PBS and HBO, Times Square, the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Greek television, American civics classrooms, and international film festivals.

Before founding Gouse Films, he served as resident filmmaker for the Wall Street law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where he worked with top management and across firm constituencies to formulate digital media strategy. With projects ranging from multi-camera studio interviews to animated branding and from marketing modules to short documentaries, he provided creative vision in communicating firm culture and success. 

While at Cadwalader, Konstantinos was instrumental in the creation of VS Confronts, a video-based, pro bono unit fostering communication among those who battle human trafficking in the United States. 

Konstantinos' short documentary, To Build Strong Children, about human trafficking and education, was an official selection at the Sacramento International Film Festival in 2014 and was repeatedly broadcast by PBS (WHUT) in the Washington, DC area.

His 2017 feature-length documentary, How to Steal a Chair, is a meditation on design, passion, and lost dreams. It has enjoyed international success, screening at film festivals, museums, and higher learning institutions.

He holds a master’s from the Columbia Journalism School.
